aim4art is a voluntary community arts group, formed in 2009, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of painting and drawing in the Tees Valley. We aim to paint, aim to draw, aim to create art. We meet every Tuesday (10am-4pm) at Nature's World, Acklam, Middlesbrough. We have no regular tutor, but organise a programme of visits and workshops. In our first year we were awarded Lottery funding, while for 2010-11 we were supported by Tees Valley Community Foundation. Find out more by visiting our About Us and Events pages. |

Ian Scott Massie - Railway Posters Workshop

Working with water colour and gouache, Scott gave us an entertaining and productive workshop, focussing on different ways of simplifying and rendering images of Roseberry Topping in the style of a 1930s railway poster. |

Our most recent exhibition took place in November 2011 at The Python Gallery, Middlesbrough. The core of the exhibition featured paintings and drawings on the theme of 'A Spirit of Place'.
